Microsoft Office Update Inventory Tool


Office Update Inventory Tool enables administrators to check one or more computers for the status of Microsoft Office 2000 and Office XP updates. Administrators can run the tool from one central location to check the status of all computers in their organizations. The tool produces a report used to determine which updates have been applied, which updates are available to be applied, and which updates can be applied only to an administrative image. The tool works in two stages. First, you run an inventory program on each client computer to produce a log. Then, you use a conversion program to transform the log data into a comprehensive report that covers all inventoried computers.
